The Ananda Yoga and Healing Center of Scotts Valley has become a reality!

The Grand Opening Open House and Kirtan Blessing was held on Saturday, July 7, 2007.


The address is 75 Mount Hermon Road at the intersection of Mount Hermon Road and Glen Canyon Road. This quaint building was long home to a retail business called, Angels By the Sea. Now, with the combined help of many caring individuals, the reality of an Ananda Teaching and Healing Center in Scotts Valley has been manifested.

A Letter to Friends and Members

Dear Friends,

Ananda Sangha of the Redwoods is ready to expand beyond Boulder Creek and that is just what is happening. In the very near future, there will be a new Ananda center opening in Scotts Valley at the intersection of Glen Canyon and Mt. Hermon roads.

You have a special relationship to Ananda and have shown your support in the past: by attending classes or workshops, special events or fundraisers, or by your on-going financial support of our efforts to share the teachings of Self-realization and Yoga with our community. Ananda will be the only full-time dedicated yoga facility in Scotts Valley and will offer hatha yoga, meditation instruction, weekly group meditations, and in time, Ananda Sunday services.

At this time I invite you to add your energies to others who are contributing financially to make this expansion of Ananda into Scotts Valley a reality. Our goal is to raise $10,000 in the next two weeks. I have focused on finding 20 people to donate $500 each. Some folks have donated less, some have promised more, and some have pledged their donation in monthly segments. No matter the size, all donations will help move Ananda in the direction of turning the space you see below into a bright beginning for the Ananda Yoga and Healing Center of Scotts Valley. Of course, all donations are tax deductible.
